Destiny being refurbished?

We just completed a Key West/Cozumel cruise on Destiny this past Monday.

She desperatley needs modernizing. She is noticeably out of date compared to other ships that are newer or have had refits since Destiny has. Things like no fridges in the cabins (except suites), non flat-screen TV's, no access to your folio on the TV, lack of ship-wide Wi-Fi, no specialty restaurant, and very odd use of space on deck 4 above the lobby (just a circular photo display area with constant alarms as people passed from one section to the next with unpaid-for photos in their hands. We found her to be somewhat drab and uninviting in most of the indoor public areas, and for example, just didn't find the lido buffet to be a particularly inviting space - nothing really "wrong", just kind of bland and cramped.

But, for what she does have, she is reasonably well maintained, has a good crew, and we enjoyed our cruise. Our cabin steward and our wait staff were OUTSTANDING. One nice thing about not having some recent "innovations" is that Destiny still has two-person teams in the main dining rooms instead of the three-person teams with more tables to cover on other ships. We found dinner service to be excellent.
