Carcassonne

We'll be in Sete in September and have reserved the ship's tour to Carcassonne. However, it's pricey. Any suggestions on a private tour from Sete to Carcassonne? My husband isn't big on renting a car and driving.

We will be in Sete this spring (we have been there on previous ocassions) and face the same issue. We finally decided to simply rent a car (its a relatively easy...but long drive) which was much cheaper then the cruise line excursion and lets us do what we want, when we want, with whom (or is it who) we want. Since you do not want to use a rental car we would suggest you post your issue on the CC Roll Call for your particular cruise. Perhaps a group from your cruise can get together on the Roll Call and hire a car/driver.
