abe3 Posted January 21, 2012 #1 Share Posted January 21, 2012 Anyone used the bed rails or guards to make sure your toddler dosen't roll out of bed on a cruise ship? We will be sailing on the Pearl soon and are wondering if they will work on the pull out couch?
cb at sea Posted January 21, 2012 #2 Share Posted January 21, 2012 Many folks will simply turn the sofa to face the wall....making a "crib" of sorts...no railing needed!

AmesFL Posted January 23, 2012 #4 Share Posted January 23, 2012 We brought collapsible bed rails last cruise and plan on bringing them again. They worked well with the pull out sofa.
PhoenixDawgCruising Posted January 23, 2012 #5 Share Posted January 23, 2012 My younger son, now 7, still has a rail on his bed (doesn't really need it) because he's a contortionist in his sleep. We got a fold up travel rail at Toys r Us/Babies R Us for $30, folds up and goes right in the suitcase. He doesn't need it any more, but we've taken it on cruises in the past wth no problem and used it on the fold out sofa bed. The Pullman has its own mini rail, so we didn't need it for the cruises he had a Pullman.:)
