Adventure Ocean Kids Group

Hi everyone,

 

I know that this topic has been discussed before, but I am looking for experiences from anyone who has sailed on the Allure or Oasis recently and have asked to have kids move up/down in Adventure Ocean. We are travelling with some friends on the Allure and the 4 kids will be in 3 different age groups. We would love to have the 11 year old moved to the 12 - 14 group and the 8 year old move to the 9 to 11 group. Has anyone had any success or thoughts in moving kids up to a higher age group so that they can be with family and friends??

Moving "up" is generally more acceptable than moving down on RCCI. A friend who used to work in the kids club said that the lines insurance made moves "down" very risky.

 

Moving a kid is really at the judgement of the kids club manager. Number of kids in different age groups, the maturity of the kid involved, etc.

As onessa said it is totally up to the ao counselor. I have had success on royal with moving both up and down. And actually on grandeur, my youngest floated between 2 age groups at will. But I am guessing they allowed for special arrangements for her ;)
