K&P Luv2Cruise Posted January 24, 2012 #2 Share Posted January 24, 2012 cruising from jax to half moon cay and nassau. which side of the boat will have the best scenery? woo hoo! At Half Moon Cay you tender, and the front of the boat usually faces the island...however, given currents etc, the port side usually has the better view. For Nassau, I would have to say port side...depends how many ships are in port with you as to whether you get a view of the water, or another ship. As far as leaving from Jacksonville...if you are on the port side, you will have a view of land, but on the return trip, you'll view the ocean. Have a great cruise ! Rare mizLORInj Posted January 24, 2012 #3 Share Posted January 24, 2012 I haven't found that port vs. starboard really matters. Have fun. HMC is beautiful.

elcuchio24 Posted January 24, 2012 #5 Share Posted January 24, 2012 We always cruise on the port side. No real reason. Doesn't matter a whole lot while in port. HMC usually tenders on the port side, so you could see the tenders come in if that interests you.
