IRL_Joanie Posted January 25, 2012 #2 Share Posted January 25, 2012 what an odd thing to still be mailing out: That is noted on the Costa web site: .....Costa Cruises would also like to clarify that starting on the day after the accident, all advertising initiatives planned were cancelled out of respect for those affected by this tragedy. The Company was unable to stop only one postal promotion, which had already been sent to some customers at the end of December.... http://www.costacruise.com/B2C/USA/Info/concordia_statement.htm Joanie

One of those Google content specific ads popped up advertising a Titanic anniversary cruise. I wish that I had screen captured it.

Smurfette&Trojan Posted January 26, 2012 #9 Share Posted January 26, 2012 OUCH!!!! Somebody forgot to read the copy before going to the press! No kidding. And that bit about "Salmond" is the icing on the top. Salmond = Salmon = Fish = Swimming with the fishes = Italians? At least that's where my brain went.

sugaangel601 Posted January 27, 2012 #13 Share Posted January 27, 2012 is there something slower than 3rd class? came monday. Its no wonder the USPS is going under (apologies for the pun, but it somehow seems appropriate for the thread). My office sent out a local mailing in early December. It came back return to sender TODAY. 6 weeks later.
