Super Shuttle out of Houston Hobby

I am trying to find affordable transportation for my daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter to Galveston from Hobby. They are flying in on Feb. 25 at approx. 6 p.m. The cruise departs on Sunday so they have a hotel booked in Galveston for Sat. night. The transfers from the cruise line, Carnival, are 30 pp each way. The limos seem to all run around $90. and up. The Supper Shuttle lists on there website a price of $100. for up to 10 people one way. Obviously where I am going with this is, do you and your party want to share a Super Shuttle? This will significantly reduce the price if we can fill up a shuttle which leaves more money to spend on the ship and in ports! Thanks for looking :)

I'm leaving at a different time. But I do think you are on to something. I think the airport shuttles to Galveston are exorbitant! It seems like there would be more than a few people who need rides to the port, making it more cost effective.

Add a nights lodging in and it really adds up. I was looking at Galveston.com and it was 300 for 4 people, plus lodging in Galveston, which is (at most places) close to 200. That's 500, and you have not even gotten on the cruise ship  Wouldn't it be nice if they had a bus from airport to Galveston, but NO. They want to reem you.

We will be spending are cruise at Country Inn and Suites at Hobby Airport. It has a cruise package, which is about the price of a Hotel in Galveston, but it offers a shuttle from the airport and to and from Port Galveston. So, I won't be spending much money or time in Galveston. I would like to, but I can't afford it.
