Daytona Beach question

Was thinking of driving to Daytona Beach for the day as DH and DS would like to spend time at Daytona International Speedway. Question: is there something fairly close by that my husband could drop us off at for my teenage daughter and myself to do? Good shopping????

There is a nice mall right across the street---it has many shops, restaurants.

Thank you. Just wondering is it walkable. For eg. Could we park there and my husband and son walk to Daytona from there?

I promise--they are right across the street from each other; the road separating the mall and speedway is highway 92/international blvd. I have been to this area many times (my Dad a HUGE nascar fan)---trust me---they are right across from each other--you'll have to walk through the parking areas of each. Hope this info helps!
