What kind of photo packages are offered on the Dream?

 

Does anyone recall the price they paid? How about the cost of one photo?

 

Photos cost $19.95 for 8X10 and $9.95 gfor 6X8. 8X10 is the photos taken with backgrounds (like for pirate night, or formal night). Also the photos taken in the MDRs. 6X8 is the photos with characters in them.

 

You can purchase photo credit packages. An 8X10 = 2 credits, a 6X8 = 1 credit.

 

There are several different photo credit packages. 10 credits = $89. 20 credits = $149. 30, 40, and 50 credit packages are/have also been available, sorry, I don't know the prices on those. The 10 & 30 credit packages must be prepurchased online before you cruise. The 20 & 40(or 50) credit packages you purchase onboard.

 

There is also a CD that you can purchase. It will include all photos taken by ships photographers on your cruise. The price varies depending on the cruise. On our MR 7 night cruise it was $249. I believe the 7 night Magic package was $299. The photos on the CD will be just the raw image (no borders). If you purchase the CD, you can purchase extra photos (with borders) for 50% off. Also, if you get the CD, it's a good idea to check periodically at the photo kiosk that all your pictures are there.

Thanks...too bad cruise lines over price the photos. I think they would sell more if they lower the prices. I wonder how many photos are tossed out every sailing.
