Thrifty car rental in Miami shuttle ?

We are flying into Fort Lauderdale, renting the car at the airport and returning the next day in Miami before the cruise. Thrifty says they have free shuttle to port.

Has anyone else done this? Would like to know how much time to plan on for returning the car and getting to the port.

The ride from the MIA car rental center to POM takes about 15-20 minutes. The shuttle schedule is anyones guess. :o Drop the car off late morning and you should be checked in and enjoying lunch and a DOD shortly after noon. Good luck!
