Transfer between Port Everglades and FLL Airport with a toddler

Does anyone have any experience with any of the transportation services that offer a car seat for transfer between the port and FLL airport? It would be easier to just catch a taxi at the port, but I doubt they have car seats and we'll need one for our 22 month old.

 

Looks like there are a few options. Any suggestions?

Hi,

even without the car seat, I would recommend the taxi. The city buses ( I have seen them at the port and also at the airport) or the shuttles probably do not have the child car seats either.

MJPNYC - did you ever figure this out? I'm looking at the same situation this Feb. We're coming down early so renting a car w/seat and getting r-car shuttle from FLL to port is easy. Coming back, we won't be able to use the r-car shuttle. We're trying to avoid bringing his seat if we can.

The cruise transfer bus is one option that does not require a car seat.

 

John's Car service (no relation) is often suggested; I would also check with some of the popular shuttles (QLS, Go Airport, etc.)

 

The airline will check the car seat for free if you do not want to use it on the flights - I would bring the seat to be sure it is size correctly and is safe.
