clive and anne Posted September 17, 2013 #5201 Share Posted September 17, 2013 If only Nick would open the valve a little bit both him, I and everyone else could get some sleep. Press conference in 18 minutes, but hey whose counting. lol

Clar5 Posted September 17, 2013 #5206 Share Posted September 17, 2013 Add me to the list of lurkers glued to this thread all day. I wonder if they accounted for both dents in the ship when they came up with this plan. Thats a huge dent in front and I dont know how to describe the one in the rear. emeraldcity Posted September 17, 2013 #5208 Share Posted September 17, 2013 This has been a fascinating evening ... I've not gotten much done except sit here and watch this incredible process. I've only read about the last 5 or 6 pages of this thread, but I had to let you all know I'm watching with you and appreciating your comments. It's amazing to think that this time yesterday, so much of what we are seeing now was deep below the surface. My heart goes out to those who are having the wounds re-opened as the ship is uprighted. I hope the families who lost someone that night can find closure when this process completes and the news disappears from the headlines.

I wonder if anyone else misses Cheng75kp? He should be here with us! Hope he's watching in the Gulf somewhere tonight...

They can probably adjust it if needed by adding buoyancy to the starboard sponsons.
