Looking for clean affordable Fort Lauderdale hotel for family of 4 preferably with free airport shuttle and breakfast included. Also looking for shuttle next morning to POM. We arrive late on Saturday and our departure is Sunday. No time to enjoy hotel. Also recommended shuttle would be greatly appreciated......cheers!

SAS (www.ridesas.com), QLS and Go Airport Shuttle are favorites on these boards - prices start at about $15 per person each way for the 40 or so minute ride from FLL to POM; they can also get you back to FLL after your cruise for the same price.

Lots of reasonable hotels near FLL - Sleep Inn and Super 8 are popular. Good luck! :)

We just booked the Hyatt House in Dania Beach. They have a free hotel shuttle from the airport. We are going the first week of March so everything was around the $200 a night mark. We have a King room for $189 a night. We are going with Quality Limo Service. $20 per person from hotel to POM and $15 per person from POM back to FLL airport. The further your hotel is from the airport the more per person it is. Good luck!

We booked at the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Airport on Griffin Road. We got a great rate w/ taxes $97 for March 16th. We booked through getaroom.com. Call them as suggested on the site because they have "hidden" deals. They have a free airport shuttle. We booked SAS to pick us up the next day and take us to POM for $15 a person. They will also pick us up from POM and take us back to FLL for the same rate. Keep in mind that this hotel is not really close to any restaurants or grocery stores. We need a grocery store to pick up soda and wine for our Carnival Cruise. I called the hotel and a Publix grocery store is about 2 miles away. the front desk said it's about $10 in a cab each way. We debated upon renting a car, for the convenience, we will stick with the shuttle and just do the cab. They have a restaurant on site. Room service is also another option.

in any event, I highly recommend calling getaroom.com. If they don't have a deal at the Hilton, they may have a deal for another hotel.

We booked the Hilton Garden Inn Airport Cruise port. It has free shuttle service, free breakfast and transportation to and from POM. We fly into Ft.Lauderdale late on the Saturday also. There are 4 of us and it cost $200.
