Winterstale Posted February 2, 2012 #5 Share Posted February 2, 2012 Yes, I think they refurbished the cabins and added the Waterworks -- hoping they carry Thirsty Frog as well :D Loved it on the Splendor!
near the beach Posted February 2, 2012 #6 Share Posted February 2, 2012 The paradise has one slide that going into the pool area. The inspiration has water works with three water slides. One is a small kids slide.
FlaGrl4Evr Posted February 2, 2012 #7 Share Posted February 2, 2012 My husband and I sailed the Inspiration for our honeymoon last Oct. We wanted to sail her before she left for CA. After sailing on the Legend, we thought we might be a little disappointed, but I can tell you that we were very pleasantly surprised. We had an OV cabin on the Upper deck-aft. The cabin was nice, they had the flat screen tv's and they did away with that ugly box-thingy-what ever it was. The ship has the waterworks and a nice Serenity deck. We had no complaints about the food or service but we are pretty easy to please anyway. We loved the shows in the Theatre, we did the PG comedy show and it was pretty good, we did some trivia, karaoke and enjoyed the pool side games and music. I cannot comment on the Casino or the Piano Bar as we did not visit these two venues, but it appeared that others were having a good time there. We went to one of the Night Clubs, and even though I'm a 40 something -I do enjoy Rap, and they had some fantastic talent. I also, really liked the size of the ship, it was easy to get around and for what ever reason, I felt like it rocked less than the Legend did. This time we even had a cabin towards the aft and didn't feel a thing. We did AT dining, and while we did not stick with one serving team like we did on the LEgend, we did enjoy our meals and the service was good and timely. We had no problems getting a table for 2 on the evenings that we wanted one. Some nights we chose to share a larger table and had an opportunity to meet some very nice folks. We went to the past guest party and had 2 drinks each and 2 appitizers each. All was good and we had fun. Don't miss the free liquor tasting that the ship offers. It was also fun. It allowed for us to sample a few types of liquor to decide if we wanted to buy a bottle or two. If you are a fan of the Sheridan's do try the Amarula. ;) The prices were very good too. IMO. We missed a port due to Hurricane Rena but the ship did replace GC with Progresso. The Captain did everything in his power to keep the passengers safe and still ensure that we had a great time. I would sail the Inspiration again in a heartbeat. It was a really fun cruise and we loved the layout of the ship. Other than some rowdy cabin neighbors, we so not have one bad thing to say about the ship, the food or it's service. It was a perfect cruise and even though we missed a port, we could not have asked for a better time. A cruise is what you make of it..... so go have a great time. :)
USNUZULOOSE Posted February 2, 2012 #8 Share Posted February 2, 2012 Just came off her earlier this month. I didnt do a review. We had an inside cabin, was not disappointed. I will post some pics. There were more than enough hangers on both sides of the closet. There are two plugs in the room. one is in the bathroom above the mirror. That will due for small items. the other one is in the desk area. Great for your hair dryer and other things. Let me know if I have something else you would like to see. If I have I will post the pic.
birdy Posted February 2, 2012 #9 Share Posted February 2, 2012 Loved her! Sail our first cruise ever on the inspiration in 2004. Then in 2009 we took our kids on her for their first cruise. She does have waterworks but does not have the giant TV like the Triumph (our second with the kids last year).
