Down Payment

Here is a question that frequent cruisers will know so I am asking here first before calling Princess. We have booked a cruise and payed only the down payment. Because of circumstances beyond our control we have to cancel. Is the down payment refunded or do we lose that? Please advise. Thanks.

Fully refundable - just call Princess.

It will be refunded by the same method you paid it. Just call Princess and they'll take care of it for you, or if you booked through a travel agent, call them.

In most cases, the deposit is refundable by Princess. In some cases, a travel agent imposes a cancelation fee. Contact whoever you booked with

Princess has been running some promotions lately where the deposit is non-refundable. I don't know if you booked your cruise during one of these promotions but there is a chance that you may not get a refund of your deposit.
