If we purchase an internet package from the ship (Dawn), will we get service everywhere (in cabin & around pool), or just in certain areas?

Not "everywhere" on the ship...hard to tell how wireless it will be in your cabin; it all depends on the location of the cabin to the hallway repeaters.

 

Besides your cabin, there will be many places on the ship where wireless will not work...you can't really tell until you try to connect.

Piggy backing on the internet question here, if I only need an hour worth of time can I purchase the 60 minute package even though I'm on a 7-day cruise?? The 60 minute package falls under the short cruise packages.

You can just use the "Pay-as-yo-go" option if you're only going to use 60 minutes..

Depends on how much the 60 minute package is. Pay as you go is 75cents per minute which would be $45 for 60 minutes. What is the price of the sixty minute package?

When you get on board go to the internet cafe and check the specials that they have and figure it out from there. There are quite a few different options.

Wifi works in most places and most cabins on most ships but there always seems to be a few dead spots.

The 60 minute package is 40 cents per minute ($24). I think I'd rather pay 40 cents ($24) than 75 cents ($45)...
