Med cruise, LOS , May USD/euro?

Sorry to be asking yet another question,but... when onboard the Liberty in Europe, is it better when giving extra tips to tip in Dollars(US) OR Euro ? Will everything be priced in dollars or Euro? Thanks for any info:)

All prices are in dollars.

I always prepay my tips. Any additional tip is done in the currency I have left :)

Euros are fine - after all that is what they will spend in most ports

Prices will be in US$ for everything onboard and if your sailing out of Barcelona does not include a stop at a non-European Union port, Spanish VAT of 8% will be added to all bar and spa purchases in addition to the standard 15% gratuity.

 

As for any additional cash tips, I have had it confirmed by a member of the crew yesterday, that whilst in Europe they prefer any cash tips to be in Euros as they don't have to convert any other currency like US$ before going ashore.
