Are you asking about gratuities? If so, then yes. They automatically add the gratuities to your SeaPass account, or you can prepay them. It is $11.65 per person per day. As far as drinks go, I did not bring anything on board but research "smuggling drinks on-board" and you will find plenty of info ;)

We always tip the recommended amount. We used to hand it out in CASH on the last day of the cruise, but lately, we arrange to have it put on our Sea Pass by visiting the Customer Service desk and filling out the form. We eat dinner in the MDR every night, so we usually give extra CASH to the wait team if service has been above-and-beyond.

We pre pay MTD and give extra for good service. We usually give our cabin person 40.00 at the start of the cruise and then a little extra at the end. Plus add on a buck or two for drinks, sometimes, not everytime.

RCI says they don't allow ANY beverages to be brought aboard....they seem to be lax on enforcing it if the beverage is not alcohol, tho.

 

Tipping is done on the last evening of the cruise, if you're tipping in cash. The only other cash tipping you may need to do is for room service delivery...$1-5, depending on how much the kitchen staff has to carry. Tip at time of delivery.

 

Bar tabs and any drink purchase will have 15% added to the cost....no need to tip additionally, but if you want to, you'll just add it to your tab...not in cash.
