Never know what people may find offensive here...I have noticed so many post pulled from the NCL section as compared to other boards.

I have no idea but asked.

here is more Lloyd werft news

A fire that broke out on board Cunard’s 70,327gt cruise liner Queen Elizabeth 2 today has been extinguished. The ship is in drydock at Lloyd Werft, where it is undergoing a refit. 28 fire fighters from Bremerhaven were quickly on the scene. Reports this afternoon said refit work is not expected to be delayed beyond its scheduled completion on Thursday and the ship will be ready for its Northern Delights cruise from Southampton to Oslo, Copenhagen and Amsterdam, departing from the UK on 22 May.

The original report was that The Pride Of America will be sailing in the summer of 2005 as announced by NCL.

Here is part of the cruise-community report(fair use)

NCL and Lloyd Werft are negotiating a settlement of the repair claim for Pride of America with the syndicate of insurers covering the ship. At the same time, NCL and the shipyard are discussing amended commercial terms for the vessel’s completion after repairs have been carried out, NCL said.
