Have a cruise booked for Dec. Was planning on flying into Miami Thursday, shop Friday and hit POM on Sat. After cruise, grab a rental car and head to Ft Lauderdale and come home Xmas day via FLL. (have to work) I have found another flight option which lands us in Ft Lauderdale first at 9 pm, stay in Ft Lauderdale and shop Friday (and rent a car) and then drive to Miami Sat am. Then get off the cruise and rent another car and spend 3 nights in Miami and come home Xmas day leaving from MIA. Which airport would it be easier to drop the rental car off on Xmas day?

This all hinges around your rental car drop off? They are both going to be about the same with the edge going to FLL just because it is a smaller airport. Go with whatever airport is cheaper.
