TipsyT Posted February 11, 2012 #1 Share Posted February 11, 2012 I've read great online reviews about Linda's Dutch Pancakes & Pizza. We will be in Aruba on March 2nd (my birthday) from 730 til noon. What would be the best way to get to Linda's and then to Eagle Beach for a little sun time? After that, would there be any good place for shopping on the way back to the cruise port? TIA! Trish p.s. If you've got a personal review of Linda's that would be great, too. Arubalisa Posted February 11, 2012 #2 Share Posted February 11, 2012 I would take a taxi to Linda's. Take a taxi from Linda's to the beach, they will call one for you. Shopping at the malls in the Palm beach area OR Taxi or public bus back to Oranjestad and shop there.
AUNTIE24 Posted February 11, 2012 #3 Share Posted February 11, 2012 Going to aruba 25 years will be there the 4th of march till the 18. lindas is great but you need to take a cab from the pier about $10.00, after breakfast take a cab to momba beach (palm beach area)nicer beach area and closer to lindas. you can walk from momba to the holiday inn they have some lower prices and there is a walkway that takes you all along behind the hotels were there is shopping and you can go into the hotels for more high end shopping.Just go through any of the hotels and you can get a cab back to the pier.I like the apple pancakes with a shot of rum on the side to pour over the pancakes. I am cruising the southern carribean in june and happen to look at the aruba site. Diane
