Suite Perks? (Norwegian Sky)

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

We are considering booking a short 4 day cruise on the Norwegian Sky later on this year, and are looking at booking one of the Penthouse suites. We have never booked a suite before (we are usually "inside cabin" purchasers) so are looking at the long list of perks the Suite customers received.

The Star Bar Day Lounge - is that just somewhere private to sit during the day, and access to the concierge services, or do they provide free snacks / drinks throughout the day there as well? Just trying to get a handle on all the extra's so we can decide if it is worth it to spend the extra money or not. :)

Thanks.

Rebecca

The Sky penthouse was my first suite experience too. The Sky has no courtyard or private pool for suite guests but do not let that distract you. The suite on Sky gives you many perks. The aft penthouse on Sky is one of the best suites on NCL. They have a HUGE balcony for eating, lounge chairs, etc. There is a separte living and bedroom area. The bathroom is HUGE with separte tub and shower. The penthouse on Sky is twice the size then the penthouse on Epic. You will get priorty tender in ALL ports. This is really handy on Great Stirrup Cay day and when you get back to Miami and cut the line to get off first. You can have lunch and breakfast in Cagneys where you can get personal dishes like omlettes made just the way you like. There is no rush or crowds at Cagneys since this is exclusively for suite guests for breakfast and lunch. You also get a bottle of sparkling wine during sail away. You also get a personal cocktail party with the captain with FREE drinks and munchies. You get reserved seating for all shows and priorty reservations at all restaurants. You also get free room service. You get a DVD player with movies if you wish to watch in your room along with 2 flat screen TVs. Since the Sky is rather small, the concierge will check in with you daily to see how things are going and assist in making your cruise the best ever.

Everything David said is spot on.

The aft pentouse we had on the Sky was the best we ever had on any NCL to date. It puts the aft Penthouse suites to shame on the Epic.

Thanks! You have convinced me it is the way to go. :)

Now to decide on which Penthouse suite to go for. SG's are sold out. It might have to be a SF (forward), or SE (aft). Want the bigger balcony, but as there will be 3 of us in the room, I dont want to trip over each other either.. Decisions, decisions! :)

Cheers,

Rebecca
