Noise of cabin above main stage theater

We just booked an inside cabin 4011 on eurodam, but are wondering how loud the room will be as it is directly over the theatre. We usually go to bed around 1030, will we hear any noise from below?

Has any one had any experience with these cabins?

We were over the theater once. If we were in our cabin early we did hear the show again. We also could hear the practice in the daytime. However, that being said, we have also been over the casino and could hear talking over the microphone I guess and we were over the restaurant and heard the captain talking at the second Mariner lunch when we were in our room in the early afternoon. Oh and we were over the Ocean Bar and heard the music there. If you are on that level there are various places you could hear noises at different times of the day.

It is not very loud, just hearable.

If noise is an issue there are two things that work really well:

1. Book a cabin on a floor that has cabins above and below instead of public rooms, galley, showrooms etc., like the Veranda or Upper Veranda.

2. Buy a cheap pair of latex swimming earplugs. That way you won't even hear your cabin mate snorring!!:D

We were across the hall in 4013 on the Eurodam last month. I was concerned about late rehearsals prior to our cruise. We usually went to the later show so noise was not a problem. Once we went to the early show and we could hear the bass in the corridor outside our room much like when you are at a stoplight next to a car with the stero blaring. It was not a problem and would not have kept us awake because we only heard it when we opened the door. We were on the verandah side, but I think you would have the same experience we did across the hall.

We loved the cruise and hope to go again next year:).
