codymon Posted February 16, 2012 #1 Share Posted February 16, 2012 We are going on a Conquest Cruise out of New Orleans in September. I am looking for a hotel that will provide parking. Any suggestions?

firefly333 Posted February 16, 2012 #3 Share Posted February 16, 2012 The link looks to be updated since I looked. Ive done Holiday Inn Superdome twice and Drury once (getting expensive to me) Im going to be there the Saturday after Thanksgiving and all Holiday Inns except Superdome have a parking cruise type package, I have a back up booking for $164 at the airport location. Im at a more expensive hotel also, but so many hotels have been cancelling on me, I have the back up locked in rate too. some big football game. A lot depends on when you are there. See the gulf ports departures theads for more discussion.
GORDONCHICK Posted February 17, 2012 #4 Share Posted February 17, 2012 The Drury used to have a park and cruise deal that was very reasonable, but the last time we sailed out of NOLA was 2009. But I can tell you that it's a great hotel - large rooms, and the pool is on the roof. There isn't much in the way of restaurants right around the hotel, but Drurys provide a great breakfast (eggs, sausage, french toast, oatmeal, make your own waffle, cereals, donuts, etc) and have evening "kick back" that includes drinks (alcohol for those 21 & over) and an assortment of hot food. We've seen baked potatoes, nachos, chicken strips, eggrolls, chicken wings, salad, hot dogs, etc.
gretchenr2 Posted February 20, 2012 #5 Share Posted February 20, 2012 We are cruising out of NOLA in May. Booked this hotel http://www.prytaniaparkhotel.com/ No charge for parking as long as you stay 1 night before or 1 night after and that you book directly through the hotel, you can't use expedia or another travel site. Very reasonable prices.
wkngmomof2 Posted January 6, 2013 #6 Share Posted January 6, 2013 I checked this hotel and they now require three nights stay! I plan on staying for two only...
adamsmom Posted January 7, 2013 #7 Share Posted January 7, 2013 They told me two nights, but I'm trying to talk them into letting us park there because we are getting three rooms for one night with only one car. :)
