sumertime Posted February 17, 2012 #1 Share Posted February 17, 2012 We've been on one cruise, DCL last March. This time around we're sailing RC for our anniversary without the kids. We're still over a year out, but I was wondering when the booking window for entertainment usually opens up so I know when to start (obsessively) checking. Thank you! AlanAllyn Posted February 17, 2012 #3 Share Posted February 17, 2012 Welcome to Cruise Critic. If you go to your roll call, you will get to "talk" to others on that cruise. Someone will likely post there as soon as reservations open up. Go to http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=35 Then click on your ship and find the date that your cruise leaves. milhouse0506 Posted February 17, 2012 #4 Share Posted February 17, 2012 What ship are you sailing on? Unless I'm mistaken, you can only pre-book entertainment on Oasis, Allure, Freedom and Liberty. On the other ships this is done onboard. Entertainment reservations for my 5/27 Freedom cruise just became available today.
sumertime Posted February 17, 2012 Author #5 Share Posted February 17, 2012 Oh, thank you! We are on the NOS. I didn't realize we had to do it on the ship. Is that crazy? I like to plan everything ahead of time.

I like to plan everything ahead of time. Except possibly the ice show, there is no booking of entertainment on Navigator. Shows are timed around traditional dining times, and there are usually 2 shows per night. They will announce whether you need tickets to the ice show. Tickets are free, but the ice rink venue is smaller than the theater, so they usually have 4 ice shows and tickets are sometimes needed to control the crowds.
