Carnival says so, it must be true!

I was on the phone booking earlier today. When confirming the cabin choice, the lovely young lady from Carnival informed me, "Yes, it's on the port side. That means you'll have a great view of all of the ports from your balcony." I should have asked her if we'd see stars from the starboard side!

The scary thing is, my young adult daughter, an experienced cruiser, did not understand why DH and I thought it was so funny.

Any of your own "chuckles" form Carnival to share?

not a cruise story, but once dw and i took a semi annual trip to scotland, and she bought her little cousin a radio that was in the shape of kip, the car from knight rider.

 

he opens it, first thrilled it was just a car, and when he realized it was a radio, dw tells him, "now you can listen to what we listen to in america".

Sure is good to know the left side of the ship is always against the pier. That way they only have to touch up paint one side.

Then it was Royal Caribbean's fault this past January when my sister and I cruised on The Voyager of the Seas. We booked our cabin on the port side and every port we docked in we had a beauiful view of water no port view in sight.

 

I guess I should have told them what Carnival says!
