Cruisin Suzy Posted February 20, 2012 #1 Share Posted February 20, 2012 Looking for a great tour of Morris Island for our group of 13 (inc. 3 children ages 9, 7 and 1) for mid March before our cruise on the Fantasy. Thanks in advance!
scchasgal Posted February 20, 2012 #2 Share Posted February 20, 2012 Looking for a great tour of Morris Island for our group of 13 (inc. 3 children ages 9, 7 and 1) for mid March before our cruise on the Fantasy. Thanks in advance! It is accessable only by boat and it is uninhabited wondering why you want to go there. I have never heard of a tour there. banditoo Posted February 21, 2012 #3 Share Posted February 21, 2012 We have read that there are boat tours out to Morris Island to see the dolphins and to explore the island for shells, shark teeth etc. It is the number 1 tour recommended on tripadvisor. carib123 Posted February 24, 2012 #5 Share Posted February 24, 2012 HERE IS A SITE TO LOOK AT: http://www.adventureharbortours.com/morris-island-tours/ My suggestion is not to go to Morris Island, but go to the beaches at Sullivans Island. You can tour Fort Moultrie, which gives you a view of the harbor, then go to the beaches directly from there. Sully's is how the beaches of SC used to be 40 years ago...lots of houses, dunes, sandollars, etc. If you have ever watched the movie Dear John the beach scenes are of Sullivans where it faces towards Charleston Just my opinion
banditoo Posted February 24, 2012 #6 Share Posted February 24, 2012 Caper's Island has also been suggested. Wondering what that is like? http://indexic.net/event/Barrier-Island-Eco-Tours
