OBC for New Booking....will Carnival match it?

We booked our cruise two weeks ago through a Carnival PVP. I noticed today on another popular cruise website that they are offering OBC for new bookings. It would mean $250 of of OBC for us. Will Carnival match that? We booked past guest and not early saver due to the declining health of my grandfather. We weren't comfortable with the non-refundable deposit. I just wasn't sure if they matched OBC offers or if it was just cruise fare matches. Thank you!

Just cruise fares... Most likely the TA is giving up a portion of the commission on the sale in the form of OBC.

Carnival's agreement with TAs prohibits them from offering incentives worth more than 5% of the price of the cruise or $25, whichever is lower.

Or it could be another fare, not the fare you booked. Sometimes Carnival runs free OBC fares with free upgrades .. for a higher fare $$$ of course.
