Photo prices?

I'm trying to budget for our cruise in April and I know that I am going to buy at least a few photos. Can anyone tell me some current prices? The last time we sailed was in 2009 and I can't remember what we paid then. Thank you!

on my most recent sailing, the 5x7 was around $13.00

and the 8 1/2 x 10 was around $20.00

 

expect to pay through the nose for all photos.

We just got off the Pride and we paid 21.99 each for the 8x10

yep- close to 22 bucks for a formal photo and you need to purchase that to get any other sizes.

 

(carnival does sell photo coupons youbuy before you leave-- its dollar for dollar (15.00 photo coupon) nice way to pre buy your photos.

The $19.99 8 x 10 was for the photos taken in the MDR on Elegant Night vs $21.99 for portraits taken around the ship.

 

Not sure if it was the same price for MDR photos on regular nights.

I haven't read all the responders answers, but this is what I remember about a year ago.

 

The prices they are stating are correct. Now if I bought (the same size) 3 or maybe it was 4 pictures, the 5th was free. I know it can be expensive, but sometimes my pictures are so good, it is hard not to purchase them all, so I just do the process of elimination.

 

Now that I have a digital camera, I can tell (I try to have someone take good pictures like the photographers on the ship) pretty good if my pictures will come out. This way, I don't have to purchase the photographers pictures.
