docandbird Posted April 20, 2005 #1 Share Posted April 20, 2005 Just booked Zuiderdam 10/8 in SS cabin 6108, Upper Verandah deck, last port-side cabin aft in SS category, listed as 'handicapped accessible'. Has anyone stayed in this oddly-shaped cabin, and how is it different from a standard SS cabin? First time on the Z - is there much engine vibration aft? jhannah Posted April 20, 2005 #2 Share Posted April 20, 2005 I've not stayed in an accessible SS, but have stayed in a regular SS cabin. They are spacious. The main differences that others have posted here are that the shower is a roll-in and the new pillow-top bedding (SOE enhancement) is not supplied. It makes the bed too high for transfer from a wheelchair.
