Jacksonville Plaza and Hotel

Since there is little or no information on this site about this hotel, I thought I would write a review.

We booked this because it was cheap $89/night, offered free shuttle to the hotel, free two people (others $10 pp) shuttle to the port, and free shuttle after the cruise to the airport.

We arrived at Midnight at the airport and called the hotel. We waited about 25 minutes at column 6 outside with about 15 other people. The shuttle is run by Jax Parking Club. We were taken right to the hotel and checked in. The desk clerk took care to do all our paperwork for checkout in the morning. The room was clean and comfortable. About the quality of a Super 8 Motel. We were one towel short for morning showers. A trip down to the desk clerk and instead of 1 towel, he gave us 3. The breakfast area is small but we took our bagel, yogurt, and cerial back up to the room.

We were given a 10:30 departure shuttle. Those of you who like wine, there is a store to the left, and across the street. The shuttle took us right to the Jax port for embarkation and our Fascination cruise.

Thanks for this, Birdy! We are going to stay there in April, thanks to CruiseCritic members posting their experiences. Yours is the most recent review. Glad to see there is no restriction on airport shuttle as our flight will likley be a late one arriving. Good to know there is wine available at a store right there too ;)
