We thought about doing Megabus, but my husband prefers to drive it himself. Here is a thread where I asked a similar question, hope it helps you! http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1377790
cruiseaddictColleen Posted February 26, 2012 #4 Share Posted February 26, 2012 We also are considering to take the megabus from Providence to New York. Does anyone know the distance to the pier from where the bus drops you off??
SeaShark Posted February 26, 2012 #5 Share Posted February 26, 2012 The only issue you have to watch for with Megabus is their luggage policy. It is a little more restrictive than some people might be prepared for.

SeaShark Posted February 26, 2012 #7 Share Posted February 26, 2012 Exactly only one piece of luggage up to 50lbs and one hand held. Yes...and that is one hand held as in "fits under the seat" and not an airline carry-on sized bag.
