CCL Stock and OBC

I apologize if this has been asked, but does anyone know how long you have to have 100 shares of CCL for to get the OBC? Is at booking? At time of submission of the form? Or when you are on the ship? Or all 3?

At time of submission of the form. Just show them a statement showing you own it and send it in.

You just have to own them. Send in a recent broker statement listing the shares and clearly showing your name on the statement.

 

I mention that because my shares were listed on the second page of my statement (where my name is only on the first page) so I only sent that in.

It has to be voted on every year, but always gets re-uped.

Yep,,,I'm waiting for them to "re-up" for next year, as my wife is doing a B2B Med cruise, repositioning, and I need to get the OBC for those two cruises, but they don't happen until Sept/Oct. of 2012. That'll amount to a fair amount of change, as one is a 12 day, and the other a 15. Should pay for a few excursions! :D

I had booked a cruise in Dec, the March 4, 2012 Splendor, 4 more days!! Then read about the OBC here on CC for stockholders. Thought it over, bought the 100 shares in Feb, emailed a statement and got the OBC. I bought the shares after I booked. I think it's a great benefit for stockholders, plan to keep the shares as long as I'm cruising.

My understanding and I own and use CCL OBC is that you must submit your request form and proof of ownership a minimum of 14 days before sailing.

I dont know about today, but in 08 my buddy bought his shares on a thursday, applied for the credit on friday and sailed with the credit in place on Saturday.:D:)

Thinfool, I bought my shares 6 days prior to sailing and submitted the confirmation the next day - had my OBC within 24 hours of that. :)
