Mercury Posted February 29, 2012 #1 Share Posted February 29, 2012 We will be on Celebrity Silhouette later this year. My children love a bedtime story each night and so I was wondering if I could get them books from either the library or kids club (to read in the cabin)? cb at sea Posted February 29, 2012 #2 Share Posted February 29, 2012 I would bring a few books, just in case. The library isn't always well-stocked..for any age!
Rare Essiesmom Posted March 1, 2012 #3 Share Posted March 1, 2012 This is where an ipad filled with kids books might come in handy...EM
Onessa Posted March 1, 2012 #4 Share Posted March 1, 2012 The library's do have a limited number of books, but whether any will interest your kids is always up for debate. Invest in a color nook or equivalent Amazon reader - there are plenty of free or very inexpensive books (including picture books). Although NOT inexpensive, we purchased a few of my DD's high school text books for her Nook -- she's been "on the road" for sports and band quite a bit and bringing the Nook instead of her regular 25+ pound backpack has been great for her. If you don't want to invest in a reader, bring some paperbacks - you can always leave them behind if need be.
