Shore excursion on Dream for 4/14/12 sailing

:oneed help with selecting shore excursions. We have a 6 year old and a 9 year old who is interested in snorkeling and seeing some mayan ruins. we have probably narrowed down Roatan with Tabayana Beach excursion, any reviews on this choice? My problems is choosing for other ports. Cozumel would like to go to Xcaret, but wonder about travel time with relation to time spent there. Channakanaba is nice we have been there before but dont want to spend time at musuem for half of the time as reviews have said on excursion offered by Carnival. Is it safe to take taxi there? Husband is nervous about going off on own with kids and making it back to ship in time. :confused:Costa Maya completely lost ?? and Belize, which ruins, Altun Ha tour or Xunantunich tour. Sorry to be so long winded!
