Yes with bright yellow laces which I propose never to do up properly and to leave the huge tongue hanging out too. Don't tell me I'm not trendy. I've also engaged a 13 year old to give me lessons in exactly how low my trousers should be and just how much of my underwear (and person) should be on show. Strangely, Anderson and Sheppard have little or no information on this sartorial point.

Come October I'll be the piece of resistance on board.

I would consider that rather patronising, after all it's hardly brain surgery. Anyone who can't iron a shirt, well.......

I think they were impressed that I brought a little can of spray starch with me so that the formal shirts would be nice & crisp.

 

I'm sure all their husbands knew how to iron, but chose not to.
