Questions for Scubagirl....

Thanks so much for all the wonderful info you provide! I was wondering if April 11 would be considered "spring break" when many hotels have limits. We are two families, each with one child 12 years old and are worried we will not get a day pass to Sheraton. We dock at noon. Do you think there is any chance they will sell out? Our cruise line has a beach day at Wyndam in their excursions. Should we do that to be safe? Can you tell me more about the "non motor" water toys....what does that include? What else is available for a fee, and do you know the fees?

Your week is actually easter week.. and not the drunken Spring breakers week, so you shouldn't have any trouble getting a pass at the sheraton.

Last time I was on the beach they had a couple of kayaks, water trikes and mats. They also have snorkel gear.

There are jetskis vendors.' (but you have to be 18 to drive and I don't recommend tandem, since it's dangerout). Parasailing (don't know the age) and banana rides. all independent and for a fee.

I think that jet ski is 60 for 30 minutes. Parasailing is about the same for 15 minutes, and banana ride either $15 or 20.. these are cash only and the hotel has nothing to do with these vendors.

As far as safety is concerned.. don't swim near the jet ski vendors.. and stay off of them. We have serious, and sometimes fatal accidents every season. The beach is wide enough not to be near these vehicles
