smeesme Posted March 7, 2012 #1 Share Posted March 7, 2012 Hi, We sail on Friday and I just received a large OBC for our ES fare. $352 Yay!! However, we've already paid all our tips, and we don't drink or gamble so we may not use all this money on board. According to the email the amount is non-refundable. Some messages I've seen though seem to think it is. Can anyone tell me recently if they've gotten a refund? Thank you!!!
BigDfromTN Posted March 7, 2012 #2 Share Posted March 7, 2012 I believe it is for cant swear to it. Worst case scenerio is to put your card in a slot machine and request that amount of money. Then cash it out at the cashier later. No problem.
kelzbelz77 Posted March 7, 2012 #3 Share Posted March 7, 2012 It is refundable. Have fun trying to spend it!
KroozFoolz Posted March 7, 2012 #4 Share Posted March 7, 2012 ES OBC is refundable! We received a refund at the end of our Legend cruise last November.
oldrailfan Posted March 7, 2012 #5 Share Posted March 7, 2012 I was thinking (Dangerous, I know) that unless you had no other funds in your S&S account, how would they know what was refundable and what wasn't? I like BigDfromTN's" idea - go to the casino, load the whole amount into player's credit, then cash out.
smplyblessed619 Posted March 7, 2012 #6 Share Posted March 7, 2012 IDK, but I think I'd start drinking and a slot machine with that if it wasn't....lol and some souvenirs.

The refundable OBC is marked refundable and the nonrefundable is marked nonrefundable. they will use up the nonrefundable first. why not be a little more proactive and if you dont need to pull it out via the casino, why do it? Perhaps you gamble more than I do.

smeesme Posted March 7, 2012 Author #9 Share Posted March 7, 2012 Thanks for the replies. I'll check my sign and sail account while I'm onboard and if it doesn't say refundable I'll use the casino method. Well, we're packed and leave in the morning so thanks for the help and I'll update when we get back.
