Experience with wait list

Hi

 

I am confirmed on a sailing for next Thursday, March 15

 

Now there is another person that wants to join us.

 

The cruise is sold out, but his name is on the wait list.

 

Do they ever clear?

 

Tried to do a triple cabin and they couldn't put him in our cabin

I'm sure it has happend before, but your friend may be way down on the wait list. Did they say how far down they were?

Tell him to keep checking the Carnival website (and have any other friends do it too). The cancellations pop up without notice and they are booked by whoever sees them first (not in the order on the wait list). If you see the opening and call in first, then it's yours. If you're on a CC roll call ask your fellow cruisers to help too. That's how my parents were able to get on our last cruise, one of our roll call friends caught it before we did...
