claudie Posted April 23, 2005 #1 Share Posted April 23, 2005 Just out of curiousity where does the captain of the ship sleep? What type of room? Near bridge?
kitty9 Posted April 23, 2005 #2 Share Posted April 23, 2005 I've seen the captain's quarters on Crystal ships when he hosted a cocktail party for frequent cruisers and their accommodations are quite luxurious and big. They took two larger verandah cabins and combined them into one big suite for him, and it was directly behind the bridge.

Cotton Posted April 23, 2005 #4 Share Posted April 23, 2005 Many years ago, on a cruise on Carnival's Mardi Gras, the captain invited my friend and myself for cocktails and dinner in his quarters. NICE, very nice. Very large bdrm, huge bath, living room w/bar and dining alcove. It was located down the hall from the bridge. We also spent some time on the bridge with the captain and officers.
