Switching from Delta Domestic to KLM TransAtlantic at JFK

Hi all!

We will be flying from San Antonio (SAT) to Lisbon (LIS) on Delta and KLM in June. I have looked at the Delta and JFK websites but am still a bit confused on how to go from the Delta terminal (3) to the KLM terminal. It looks like there is a rail system as well as a shuttle system. Which is the easiest? We have 5 hours, so time should not be an issue.

Go to the DL website. In the airport map section, you can get the layout for JFK. You will see that there is an airside bus shuttle from both T2 and T3 over to T4. I would highly recommend that over the AirTrain, as that is outside security and more of a schlep than the airside.

 

One drawback to the airside shuttle is that it does not run as often as the AirTrain. But with 5 hours, you have plenty of time - I'd vote for convenience.
