suggestions for hotels for sailing out of New York

Without knowing any details, such as when you want to go and how much you want to spend, I did a little research online, and the hotel closest to the Manhattan terminal is called INK48. I never stayed there, but it looks like a nice hotel for about $400 per night.

If you stay near Newark airport you can take AirTran and new jersey transit to new York penn station. And take a can to the port.

The Hilton at Newark penn station is connected to the train station by a walkway. It is ok hotel if you can get it for less than 200 per night.

There is a forum for east coast ports. That will give you more information.

The millennium broadway hotel is excellent. My wife and I stayed there post cruise two summers ago and loved it. It directly next to the Good Morning America Studio on Times Square.

If I remember correctly, our room was about 225 a night. You should be able to find some good rates if you try to book non-refundable.

GOOD LUCK!!!!
