I've downloaded the Ship mate app to research the ship but I don't see any nightclub or dance floor. Is the aerobics. On board and if so is there a fee

Other than alcohol, tips and the one restaurant, what other extra charges will I encounter and is it true you can purchase from he duty free alcohol and take back to cabin to enjoy?

The Spa is an extra charge. And NO you can't buy the duty free onboard and take it back to your cabin. It will be delivered the last night. oops, let me add another -- there is a dance floor in the Ocean Bar.

There is a small dance floor in the Ocean Bar and a small dance floor in the Crow's Nest. No real night club on this ship.

There a couple of aerobics classes -- for beginners. The fee is $12 per class for pilates, cycling, yoka -- they are not held every day. There is also boot camp for $35 per class. None of them are held every day.

Tours are extra if bought through shore excursions.

Don't forget that the Hotel Service Charge of $11.50 per person per day (or $12 per person per day) is added onto your shipboard account once you get on the ship.

You can not buy any alcohol from the duty free shops to take back to your cabin. Any bottles that you buy there will be held until the last day of the cruise and then you go and pick it up to take home with you.

If you pre-order alcohol for your cabin from HAL's web site -- mark it to be delivered "At Sea" -- this is to avoid an extra tax that some states charge.

The soda card costs $25 but has a face value of $50. Each time you buy a soda with it $2.24 ($1.95 + 15%) is deducted from the value. $50/$2.24 = 22 cans, with $0.72 left over. You can use that $0.72 with $1.52 on your room key card (or another soda card) to get another can.
