Hi! Has anyone stayed here (or near)? I was wondering if there were any restaurants, gas stations or grocery stores in walking distance?

I believe a McDonald's and a Subway are in easy walking distance, along with a couple of gas stations. I think that more choices open up if you are willing to walk a substantial distance.

McDonalds is two blocks away, subway one block away. There is also a pizza place that is recommended by the hotel. The gas station is across the street. We stayed here March 10. Would definitely stay here again.

I planned on staying there before I chose a different hotel, so I did some research on Google. There are few independent bar and grill-type places along 36th Street and on nearby big streets. If you're OK with walking a mile or two through a residential area (not all streets have sidewalks), you'll end up in downtown Miami Springs. It's your typical suburban downtown, nothing out of the ordinary, but there's a good number of restaurant chains, plus a scenic area along a canal.
