abatlin Posted April 24, 2005 #1 Share Posted April 24, 2005 Booked through Priceline the Marriott Vancouver Pinnacle Downtown. Is this in a good area? How far from the docks? What is there to do near by and any good "local restaurants" not to be missed near by?
BobJanice Posted April 24, 2005 #2 Share Posted April 24, 2005 You got a Great Deal, when we were there last year we stayed at the Hyatt but wished we could have gotten the Marriott. Have a great time.

abatlin Posted April 24, 2005 Author #4 Share Posted April 24, 2005 All of that sounds wonderful. We love sushi, crab, and just about any kind of seafood. What do you suggest?
grouchy Posted April 24, 2005 #5 Share Posted April 24, 2005 garlic and black bean sauce-take a cab to Sun Sui Wah on Main street -604-872-8822.Or you can go to Pender Street(about a 2 block walk from your hotel) and catch the Main Street bus and see some of our local "wildlife". Make reservations-they are VERY busy. They have incredible food. You could go to Granville Isalnd and get a cooked crab, salads and some baquettes and have a picnic. Lobster Man-604-687-4531 He will also cook a Lobster for you and he has fresh lemons and picks for the crab. Oysters still in the shell. Granville Island has many food vendors that carry fruit, veggies, cheeses, pates and sausages, meats and seafood.Stalls sell food to eat. I will look for site that reviews restaurants and post it.
