question about pack and go

We are booked in an inside cabin under a resident rate. The pack and go rate for a balcony is now 50 more than the rate I paid. Has anyone been able to upgrade to a pack and go? I called a pvp and he said it couldn't be done, but I thought maybe if I called the main number at carnival someone might be able to help me.

Yes call back and someone will take your money.. sometimes you get someone who doesnt want to bother, but just call back .. there is no reason they wouldnt do it other than they dont feel like it. Insist when you call .. dont act like you think its ok to say no.

Im sure you are aware you cant pick your cabin .. but who cares.. for $50 sounds worth it to me.

As a rule of thumb, if it results in a transaction resulting in increased revenue on your booking, it should be done. Your PVP should know this.

You have until midnight tonight to do this. Report back how it worked out.

I tryed to do this too this week called twice and was told no it is only on new bookings and neither one of them would do it I was kind of bummed :(

I would have called back again.

Heck, I was up until 2 am on much less last night .. booked a hotel for next wednesday and hotel doesnt see the booking, booked thru another site, and they have a long wait on hold it turns out.. faxed the hotel around 1 am my time my booking to get it set up.

Im the type to call until things are how I want them or really try. You have to pick battles you can win, but this one I would have won. I would have started citing examples to them of other people who did, blah blah blah.
