Ruthee Posted March 19, 2012 #1 Share Posted March 19, 2012 Can anyone tell me whether a cruise up the Queensland coast, (Sydney to Port Douglas), Australia would be less likely to encounter rough weather than the cruises that go further out to sea. I'm prone to vertigo and thought this may be a safer option for my first 'experimental' cruise.
Rare Essiesmom Posted March 19, 2012 #2 Share Posted March 19, 2012 Welcome to Cruise Critic. There is a separate board here for Australia/NZ folks, and they might be able to give yu a better answer. eM

paul929207 Posted March 19, 2012 #4 Share Posted March 19, 2012 Welcome to Cruise Critic. We were in Port Douglas in September and the seas were extremely rough. We had difficulty getting everyone tendered back on board.
