Island Princess cabin question

Booked cabin B431 mini suite on Island princess to Alaska next May, bump out section. Have seen mixed reviews on these cabins, would like to hear pro's and con's from anyone that has stayed in the bump outs on an Alaska cruise.

Thanks!

Haven't done Alaska in the bump but we had B416 across the hall in the Canal and loved it. Great field of view to the front of the ship and sides. The cabin itself had more than enough space. And the location is awesome for getting around the ship.

Three minor negatives. 1, the balcony is small. Two people at a time max comfortably. 2, while underway you do get quite a bit of a breeze and are a little more exposed to any rain because of the extra view area and 3, the balcony is very visible to the cabins forward of it because it just out.

None of these are real problems, just items to be aware of. We booked this cabin for the canal because we had seen it while in AK and the people in it loved it.

Here's the view from B416:

Here's the balcony set up for UBD to give you an idea of size.
