zackiedawg Posted April 3, 2012 #26 Share Posted April 3, 2012 We're filled with them down here - by the hundreds - the great blues have already nested and had their young - the youngsters are getting pretty big and I'd expect they'll be sticking around another couple of weeks before they fly off. sparky-elpaso Posted April 5, 2012 #28 Share Posted April 5, 2012 Just getting back to this - we've been Down Under for the past few weeks. Although this was taken when we first got to Sydney I have to post a bird pic to go with everyone else's. We were eating lunch at the zoo and this little guy came down to beg - he ate pieces of bread out of my hand. I have no idea what he is - couldn't find him in the bird book I got. These were taken at the Queen Victoria Building in Sydney. The QVB was built in 1898 as a project to provide jobs during a depression and was restored to it's former glory.
