Passport restrictions for air travel to Aruba

My next trip to Aruba will not be on a cruise. We'll be flying in and spending a week there. I know that passports for a cruise can't expire less than 6 months later. Does this same rule count towards air flight to Aruba? My passport will expire 5 months after our trip.
